Who we are
Jeffrey E McKie
Highly motivated Architect since 2006, amassing years of experience working alongside Mr Sean Compton at Melon|Design - St Lucia. Actively being involved in the planning, design and construction of diverse commercial and residential projects across the island and the region, including St Vincent and the Grenadine, Grenada and Dominica.
At J E McKie: architect we are skilled in delivering design solutions that marry functional requirements with aesthetics, utilizing cutting-edge technolgies and state of the art design practices. We specialise in creating custom solutions that respond to our client's unique needs, delivering high performance building that are energy efficient, sustainable and enduring.
We value close collaboration with our clients, consultants and other stakeholders, communicating regularly to ensure timely delivery of projects that meet the highest standards of quality and design excellence.
At the core of our work is a deep appreciation for design as a tool for uplifting communities and enhancing social interactions. We take take great pride in delivering design solutions that not only meet our client's needs but also create inclusive and inspiring places for all.
Excellent technical qualifications (proficiency in Vectorworks) and experience in all project phases from design to construction with the ability to collaborate effectively with all stakeholders to deliver sustainably-built projects that meet and exceeds client's expectations.
Our qualifications includes a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from the prestigious "Central University - Marta Abreu - Of Santa Clara, Republic of Cuba,
A registered architect in St Lucia and a member of the St Lucia Institute of Architects (SLIA), also served on the executive committee of the institute.
